the creation
born January 27th, 2005 in Toronto, i’ve always seen life through a different lens.
as a kid, i found myself having a hard time expressing my feelings and emotions through words. i’ve never been someone to write about how i feel or feel comfortable enough to verbally talk to someone. i’d pick up a pencil and paper and start drawing whatever was coming to mind; tears, anger, jealousy, happiness, ecstasy, love...
art quickly became my way passion and also a way to express myself along with releasing my emotions.
art played a really big part in my life growing up. my friend was art, i used it as a coping method and felt safe knowing i could express myself on paper and everyone will always interpret what i made differently. my art style represented who i was during that period of my life.
inspirations and aspirations
growing up, i knew whatever i wanted to be in the future had to be art related. i am given this gift and talent for a reason and want to utilize it as much as possible, as first my dreams were to become an animator or someone who made cartoon but it quickly changed when i learned about tattoos and the world of tattooing…
as for my education i was strongly encouraged to continue school through post-secondary by my lovely mother, she was too an artist growing up but moving to Canada and starting a family changed her life. as i got older and matured more, she saw the potential and talent i have and constantly encouraged me to go into the fine arts. she told me about a university called OCAD U that specializes in the arts, i was immediately drawn in and I knew one day, i’ll be graduating from OCAD U… even if i’m not there yet i knew i would be going there to pursue my dreams.

aside from family, i took lots of inspiration for my artwork from two specific tattoo artists, Mister Cartoons and Soto Sosa. their art style spoke to me and i felt connected to their artwork, they are the reason i still am inspired to pursue tattooing!
more traditionally, abstract artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso and Salvador Dali keep me interested in my craft and remind me to use my creativity with every brush stroke.
-
as i mentioned before, OCAD U is my dream university, ever since i found out about OCAD U i’ve never felt more encouraged or comfortable with myself.
i found myself being labeled as the “weird art kid” and never really fit in due to my fast maturity and my perspective on many things.
i knew whenever i get my chance at OCAD U i’ll find my people and i’ll fit-in, i wont be seen as the “weird kid” because i’ll be in school with other “weird kids”.
OCAD U is my dream and i couldn’t be more proud of or happier with myself knowing i’m finally accomplishing it.

with my passion in the arts and a open family, i was introduced to the world of tattooing. i loved the idea of being able to have art on your skin permanently and showcase it to the world by being yourself. tattooing to me is a way of expression that i’ve always gravitated to by how meaningful or stupid an artwork can be.
school life & experimental work
as an artist in and out of school, i always experimented with many art mediums and different categories of the visual arts.
along with drawing, painting and illustrating, photography piqued my interest and helped me see art through a different lens as well as aided me with perspectives when creating artwork.
